Tehran to host Vietnam Cultural Days

Iran’s capital Tehran is to host the Vietnam Cultural Days to mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Tehran and Hanoi.

Iran’s capital Tehran is set to host the Vietnam Cultural Days to mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Tehran and Hanoi.

Vietnam Cultural Days will be held at the Iran Cinema Museum in Tehran.

A high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, composed of 70 senior officials, will take part in the event, which will kick off on Wednesday and run until August 11.

The opening ceremony of the event will be attended by top cultural officials of Iran, and the Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam Vuong Dinh Hue, among others.

The event puts on display handicrafts, traditional costumes, books, and photos that show tourist attractions of Vietnam.

Several Vietnamese films will be also screened during the event.

Vietnam Cultural Days is organized by the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization in Iran, the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Iran, the Iran Cinema Museum and the Embassy of Vietnam in Iran.
